(산청=뉴스1) 한송학 기자 = 21일 오후 3시 26분께 경남 산청군 시천면 신천리에서 발생한 산불이 오후 8시 기준 15% 진화율을 보인다.
산림청은 산불의 신속한 진화를 위해 이날 오후 4시 20분 '산불 1단계'를 발령 후 오후 6시 10분 2단계, 6시 40분에 3단계를 발령했다.
당초 산림 당국은 진화 헬기 20대 등을 투입해 진화 작업을 이어 오다 일몰 관계로 이날 오후 6시 35분께 헬기를 철수시켰다. 헬기는 일출과 동시에 다시 투입할 예정이다.
외국인취업정보 소방 당국은 현재 인력 224명 등을 투입해 불을 끄고 있다.
화재 현장 인근 점동마을 36세대 58명과 국동마을 69세대 102명 등 160명은 원리 연화마을 회관으로 대피한 상태다.
산불 현장에는 초속 2.4m의 바람이 불고 있다.
잔여 화선은 6.4㎞, 산불 영향 구역은 110ha로 추정된다.
